Gymnastics Camp
I have always loved gymnastics and throughout my life realized gymnastics was a great way to be disciplined and achieve manners and create hardworking personalities. I thought that being a gymnastics coach would be a great way to help young minds be shaped into such hardworking talented athletes. I thought that starting my own small gymnastics camp would help shape me into a greater more responsible leader and coach.
I started off by asking gymnasts at the Southern Utah Gymnastics academy if they would like to participate. Over a four day span we helped athletes progress on the skills they wanted to achieve. I started the day off by taking attendance of who all participated that day. We followed a schedule for each day so the athletes were able to have time on each event to work on new skills. If a new skill was achieved, they were able to pick a prize from the prize bag. By the end of the week, the athletes were able to show off the new things they had learned from their fellow teammates and parents as well.
